Has worked in the vocational rehabilitation field for 15 years. He currently works in the Evaluation Department at the Regina Branch of the Saskatchewan Abilities Council, the main provider of vocational evaluation services in the province. Michael has been working as a vocational evaluator since 1994 attaining his Certified Vocational Evaluator Specialist (CVE) credential in 1997. As a vocational evaluation specialist Michael assesses the vocational potential of individuals with a variety of disabilities and or disadvantages and provides recommendations regarding vocational/career planning. Michael works with referrals from government and community based employment agencies, public and private insurance companies and rehabilitation agencies and law firms. He also does vocational assessments with high school students to assist with transition planning. This is his first term on the Board of CAVEWAS.
