Has worked in both the public and private sectors of vocational rehabilitation and is currently in private practice in the province of Alberta. Her area of expertise is vocational evaluation and assessment. As a vocational evaluation specialist, Ms. MacIsaac assesses the vocational potential of individuals with a variety of disabilities/disadvantages and provides recommendations regarding vocational/career direction. Ms. MacIsaac has also qualified as an expert witness in the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench where she has provided opinions regarding the vocational impact of disability, disease and injury. In addition to her role as a CAVEWAS board member, Ms. MacIsaac is a CCWAVES Commissioner where her role is to represent CAVEWAS and Certified Vocational Evaluators (CVE) in Canada. CCWAVES is an organization that develops and maintains standards of excellence in practice for professionals who provide services in vocational evaluation, work adjustment, and career assessment.
