Dale has worked as a vocational evaluator since entering the field in 2002. He completed his degree with a double major in psychology and music at Concordia University College of Alberta and immediately started working in the Admissions Office as a Student Recruitment Officer. After 12 years, four educational institutions, close to 200,000 road miles, and making thousands and thousands of presentations it was time to move on to new challenges. Dale currently works for Saskatchewan Abilities Council and assesses the vocational potential of individuals with a variety of disabilities and or disadvantages and provides recommendations regarding vocational/career planning. The majority of his experiences are with government and community based agencies, public and private insurance companies, rehabilitation agencies and law firms. Referrals for vocational assessments also come from school boards to assist with transition planning for current high school students. His credentials include: Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE) and is in the process of achieving his Registered Rehabilitation Professional designation. This is his first term on the Board of CAVEWAS.
