We are promoting and advancing the field of vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment as a professional discipline within the field of Vocational Rehabilitation in Canada.

We are professionals (including Vocational Evaluators, Job Coaches, Career Development Practitioners and Employment Specialists), partnering together to increase awareness for the value of understanding a person's vocational potential and to encourage the maximization of that potential.

We are the voice to government, insurance companies, private corporations and related professionals to incorporate vocational evaluation and work adjustment as essential elements in the Vocational Rehabilitation process.

We work with people with disabilities to communicate the message of ability, and recognize the significance of vocation to achieving one's goals in life.

We have partnered with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada (VRAC) to promote and advance the fields of Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment within the overall Vocational Rehabilitation process. Together we are both stronger and more effective.

		2010 CAVEWAS Pre-Conference
		Join us for our next pre-conference session on June 8, 2010 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. We are pleased to welcome Dr. Timothy Field who will present on the topic of Forensic Reporting and Expert Testimony. Dr. Field has been an author, consultant, educator, and vocational expert within the public and private rehabilitation sectors since joining the faculty at the University of Georgia in 1972. 		August 2009 - New article by Francois Paradis Tools for the Vocational Evaluator
		Francois Paradis is a Certified Vocational Evaluator and a member of CAVEWAS. Mr. Paradis completed a Master's of Art in Guidance Counselling at Laval University in Quebec in 1995. He has been working actively as a vocational evaluator in the Greater Toronto Area since 2001. He obtained a GATB administrator certification in 2002 and became Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE) in 2006. Over the past 9 years, Mr. Paradis has provided vocational evaluation services to a variety of clients, including: Auto/Health Insurance.
